My name is Pastor Jenny Nettesheim, and I am so blessed to be called to Good Shepherd Trinity Church. I was a school counselor for 19 years before starting my seminary journey at Wartburg Theological Seminary in 2021. I loved working with young people, but God started nudging me towards ministry in 2017 – as you can see, it took me a bit to agree to God’s call! I’m grateful I finally listened, because seminary was an incredible experience with lots of growth, learning, joy, and laughter. I graduated in May, 2025 and am excited to be called to Good Shepherd Trinity. My favorite thing about ministry is getting to know people and building relationships with people of all ages. I believe God’s love is expansive and inclusive of all people, and I love sharing that message with others. I also like being creative and am not afraid to try new things in worship, Bible study, programs, mission, etc. I fully believe that it’s okay if something flops, because it’s just good to try new things!
In my free time I like to read, craft, garden, cook, and take my dog on walks. My family includes my husband, Matt, our two children, Annie and Hattie, our dog, Phoenix, our cats, Leo and Tommy, and a bunch of chickens. We love going camping, playing board games, and exploring National Parks.

All are invited to worship on Sundays at 10 am at Check our Sherman Park location.
